Langford, Nottinghamshire

Langford is a village and civil parish in Nottinghamshire, England. At the time of the 2001 census it had a population of 100 [1]. It is located 4 miles north-east of Newark-on-Trent. The present village dates from a rebuilding in the 18th century, the original medieval village now only earthworks in fields to the south. Langford Old Hall is a stone building of the 17th century. Langford Hall is a brick building built between 1780 and 1790 for the Duncombe family. The parish church of St Bartholomew is to the north of the village. [2]
