Langarud or Langrud (Persian: لنگرود) is a city located in the province of Gilan in Iran, it is on the south coast of the Caspian Sea. The small village Espili, the main location of the film Gilaneh, or Gilane (directed by Rakhshan Bani Etemad and Mohsen Abdolvahhab), is situated in the South of Langerood.
