Lanester (Breton: Lannarstêr) is a commune in the département of Morbihan and the Bretagne region of France. It is located in the metropolitan Communauté d'agglomération du Pays de Lorient, and is the largest suburb of the city of Lorient, across the Scorff River to the east.
