The Landtag of Thuringia is the state diet of the German federal state of Thuringia. It convenes in Erfurt and currently consists of 88 members of three Parties. Currently, the Christian Democratic Union holds an absolute majority, supporting the cabinet of Minister-President Dieter Althaus. The primary functions of the Landtag are to pass laws, elect the Minister-President and control the government of Thuringia.

After the elections of June 13, 2004, the composition of the Landtag is as follows:

The Left (Die Linke) 28
Social Democratic Party (SPD) 15

Elections are conducted using a proportional representation system, with a minimum of 5% vote share to receive any seats.
