Landesgericht (Germany)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Not to be confused with Landesgericht (Austria).
In Germany, each national court whose personnel are not allied but rather from one or several of the sixteen landes of the Federal Republic of Germany is known through § 154 GVG as a Landesgericht. More precisely, in the plural these courts are usually designated as Gerichte der Länder. Their opposite is the Bundesgericht.
