Land of Dreams is a little-known book written by Jacob Jaffe, a psychologist who lives in The Bronx. This book focuses on the life of a Jewish-Russian immigrant family in 1939, though the point of view of a ten-year old boy. This book and its chracters are based on the author's own childhood. The author is currently writing a sequel that focuses on the the character's life when he is a teenager.
