Lana Coc-Kroft was a New Zealand television and radio personality.
Lana began her television career in 1991 on the New Zealand version of Wheel of Fortune as the model who turned around the letters. Lana continued in this role until the show was axed in 1996.
In the late nineties Coc-Kroft was on radio on Auckland's 91ZM as a co-host of The Lip Stick Lunch with announcer Nicki Sunderland, this show was networked across all of New Zealand in 2000. Unfortunately the show did not rate well despite winning an award at the New Zealand Radio Awards in 2002 and as a result was axed and replaced by a show hosted by shock jock Iain Stables. Stables actually took on the drivetime show with the current drivetime announcer Jason Royalle moving to the daytime slot.
Coc-Kroft appeared in various New Zealand television advertisements, the most notable was one called "If You Wanna Make Em Smile Say Cheese" where Coc-Kroft made the infamous statement "Is there an A in that?" Another advertisement was in 2003 advertising to switch off your microwave as the clock consumes a large amount of power, this was during the 2003 Power Crisis.
More recently Coc-Kroft was part of the SportsCafe TV show. SportsCafe was axed at the end of 2005 after the Celebrity Drug Scandel. Coc-Kroft has not appeared on television since this show.
