From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This category is for languages spoken in the geographic region of Caucasus.

Language families unique to this region are Northwest Caucasian languages, Northeast Caucasian languages and Kartvelian languages. The relationships between those families is a matter of debate between linguists.

In addition to those families, Indo European (Slavic, Iranian, Armenian) and Turkic languages are spoken in the Caucasus.
