[edit] Interests
My interests include acro dance and competitive dance in particular, as well as gymnastics and other general dance topics. I am also interested in various technical topics such as video processing and network protocols.
When I'm not working on Wikipedia articles I can often be found shooting photos at dance shows and competitions. Dancing is marvelous in so many ways: it is a healthy and wholesome activity, and I never cease to be amazed by the athletic, yet graceful movements found in dance. Ahhh, to be young again!
[edit] Philosophy
Although my grammar is not perfect, I can often spot grammatical problems in articles that I visit. When this happens (and time permits), I try to clean up the problems. Also, I try to enhance articles with images whenever I feel that it is warranted and I am qualified to do so, and always with the goal of making totally open, public domain contributions. After all, my contributions to Wikipedia are nothing more than partial payback for the knowledge I have received from countless other Wikipedians. In a similar vein, if you have benefitted from my work but you haven't yet made contributions of your own, I am simply "paying it forward." Indeed, I am a born-again Wikipedian.
