[edit] Where'd the 'h' come from?

The Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales both give the name as Lammoth. Is Lhammoth a typo, a different place or a more correct name?

More correct, revised Elvish, I guess. Uthanc 05:37, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
Rather a typo... I am going to move it. -- Jordi· 07:09, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
I thought it was like periannath/pheriannath... or is that wrong too? Uthanc 11:50, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
Periannath is the base form, "pheriannath" is the genitive form (due to the "i" in ernil i pheriannath: Prince of the Halflings). I guess *Lhammoth is the genitive form of Lammoth but to my knowledge the name is not encountered in that form. -- Jordi· 12:36, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
