Talk:Lamar S. Owens Jr.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I dislike non-notable bios as much as everybody else. However:
- 1) He's a Navy quarterback
- 2) He's involved in a rape case that's been covered by the national media for over a year. Here is just a sampling of articles that a Google search will turn up:
- CBS News (2006/02/22)
- ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2359619 2006/03/08)
- MSNBC (2006/04/28)
- hometownannapolis.com (2006/07/15)
- Washington Post (2006/12/16)
- Washington Post (2007/01/18)
A couple of these links were included in the original article. When sources are provided one should not be so quick to slap a db tag on an article. - Big Brother 1984 18:59, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Isn't it bad form to name a sexual assault complainant? Even if the accused is prosecuted and found not guilty? As long as the complainant isn't found guilty of perjury? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.179.66.205 (talk) 05:40, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
