Lamottella is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders). Its single described species is found in Guinea.

The genus is named in honor of Maxime Lamotte, an ecologist and frog specialist who initiated the early expeditions into the Nimba Mountains. longipes means "long-legged".

The male spider is about 5.5mm long. The female is not yet known.
