Lambrini

Lambrini is a brand of light perry, manufactured in Liverpool by Halewood International Limited. It was originally marketed under the slogan, "Lambrini girls just wanna have fun," and currently dominates the commercial light perry market.[citation needed]

In September 2007, Lambrini started a television advertising campaign featuring Northern Soul anthem "The Snake" by Al Wilson (singer). The slogan for the campaign is "Do The Lambrini" rather than the traditional "Lambrini Girls Just Wanna Have Fun".

The dance known as Lambrini is a variation of Jumpstyle taken and adapted. No acknowledgment of Jumpstyle has been given by the company producing Lambrini it has been claimed as a new style of dance specifically for the ad marketing campaign. The recent ad campaign has caused an upset with many people of the Jumpstyle community due to the carelessness of the company producing the product known as the Lambrini. The ad "Do the Lambrini" has been responded to as "Do the Lambrini stole Jumpstyle"
