Started in '93 as a cultural space for LGBTT community. In '06 became an organization. There have been Pride events since '93, however, they have been hidden. Since '03, these events have become public, more visible. For example, there was Pride march organized.

The agenda of Lambda:

• Report human rights violations
• Constitution is about to be amended in Turkey for the purposes of EU accession so must help in changing the 8th article
• Put sexual orientation and identity into the 8th article of the constitution so that it would be easier to achieve rights
