Lamba (island)

Lamba is an uninhabited island within the Shetland Islands located at 60°31′N 1°17′WCoordinates: 60°31′N 1°17′W. It is located in Yell Sound 1.5 km (1 mile) North of the entrance to the Sullom Voe inlet. Rising 35 m (115 feet) above sea level, it has an area of 43 ha (106 acres). Its main feature is a 27m high light marking the entrance to Sullom Voe[1], and there is a communications mast next to it.
