Lam Joi-Shan

Lam Joi-Shan (pen name: Joy Shan Lam-Kung) is a columnist and executive director with the Hong Kong Economic Journal.

She is also the eldest daughter of Lam Shan-muk, founder of the Hong Kong Economic Journal.

Prior to joining the Hong Kong Economic Journal in 1994, Lam worked as an editor and program host for Radio Television Hong Kong and BBC.

In 1998, Lam became an Executive Director of the Hong Kong Economic Journal. She was selected as the Global Leader of Tomorrow at the World Economic Forum in 2001.

Since November 2007, Lam regularly writes a column at the Muse Magazine.
