[edit] "Small city?"
Lakewood Haskell Middle School will start on the day of September 10, 2006 in conclusion, we will be having a discussion of when school starts. This discussion will continue as of later on in the middle of August. Thank you for your participation.
[edit] Prefabrication/ranch argument
Some degree of prefabrication occurred in the construction of nearly every 1950s housing development, including Lakewood; factory workers wouldn't have been able to afford to purchase the houses otherwise.
As for whether the typical Lakewood house is "ranch-style": probably not, by the strict definition. I admit some appellative sloppiness in labelling it as such. In my home area, Chicagoland, any single-story post-WWII house that isn't a brick/concrete bungalow is typically deemed to be a "ranch house." --Slightlyslack 08:00, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Richard Bach
I remember Richard Bach mentioned growing up in Lakewood, though he was not born there.
[edit] Lakewood Center mall
A section or a separate article pertaining to the Lakewood Center and its history needs to be added. It's one of the biggest malls in the country and it doesn't even have a mention in Lakewood's article. President Rhapsody 00:18, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Lakewood seal.jpg
Image:Lakewood seal.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
