What construction has occured at Lakehurst lately? I know there's a Wal Mart supercenter going in there and the Service Merchandise building will become the new location of the Sundance Saloon night club.--Jon Revelle 01:54, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Off Topic?

Why was the "Crumbling Perimeter" section tagged as off topic? The places mentioned were all built to service Lakehurst and I think it relates to the mall due to them still falling apart while the mall was demolished and the land revived. Would a separate article work better?--jonrev 01:43, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

That's because the article is about the mall. This is starting to go beyond the mall and into the time and space beyond the mall. I'm inclined to remove the section entirely. The mall is gone. Its story is complete. It's been demolished and a new structure has been built in its place. Any new developments should go in a new article. Likewise, off-the-property developments independent of the mall are not appropriate for an article about the mall itself.
In a nutshell, you've got to draw the line somewhere, and I'm drawing it. SchuminWeb (Talk) 19:27, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
