Talk:Lake Malawi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
To future would-be fixers, "Lake Nyasa", one "s", is 10x more common than "Lake Nyassa" on Google, plus it's the only spelling of the old name that appears in the printed Rand-NcNally atlas, plus it's the most common old spelling in my library of African books. Don't "fix" things without any authorities to back you up. Stan 03:13, 29 Oct 2003 (UTC)

- As not all of the lake lies in Malawi, and the other countries that border it have different names for it I see no reason to insist on the Malawian name. Booshank 22:53, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
