Lakshmipat Singhania Academy

Lakshmipat Singhania Academy (LSA) are a group of schools run by the non profit Lakshmipat Singhania Education Foundation which also runs many other educational institutions at school, collage and other levels. There are two branches of LSA - in Kolkata, West Bengal, India and Bissau, Jhunjhunu District, Rajasthan, India. The schools are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. They are Co - Educational schools with classes from Pre Primary to Secondary level. Many students from the schools have got admission into top universities such as Indian Institute of Technology. The schools have become the most reputed schools in their cities. The Kolkata branch topped West Bengal in the CBSE exams in 2007.

The Lakshmipat Singhania Education Foundation was founded in the 1960s to promote education in India. The Kolkata branch of the school opened in 1996 to provide quality education in Kolkata. The Bissau branch opened in 2002 in a Haveli to introduce English Medium Education in the small rural town. The school shifted to its own building in 2007, in a 5.5 acre plot. The Kolkata branch has about 1560 students and the Bissau branch has about 600 students.
