Lakshmibai Tilak
Lakshimibai Tilak (alt: Laxmibai Tilak) was the wife of Narayan Vaman Tilak (a famous Marathi poet and a person who was born Hindu but in his later life followed Jesus Christ)
Born into a strict Brahmin family, Lakshmibai was married off at the age of 11. When her husband converted to following Christ, she lived for 5 years apart from him with their son Dattu. She ultimately rejoined him and herself became a follower of Jesus Christ.

- Autobiography: "Smriti Chitre" written in Marathi was published in 4 parts between 1934 and 1937. "I Follow After", the English translation of the first three parts was first published in 1950.

- Khristayana - Lakshmibai added 64 chapters to the 10 chapters written by her husband Narayan Vamanrao Tilak to complete this epic on Christ.
