The town of Lakselv  (Leavdnja in Davvisápmi, Lemmijoki in Finnish/Kven) (70.052° N 24.96° E) is the largest settlement and administrative centre of the municipality Porsanger in the county of Finnmark in Norway. The population was 2,160 in 2004.

Lakselv Airport, Banak is located in Lakselv, with connections to Tromsø and Kirkenes operated by Widerøe, as well as charter flights in the summer season.

Salmon fishing throughout the summer months is popular, and small golf course also exist.

Nightlife is limited, but there are two hotels with bars and restaurants.

There are a number of shops and supermarkets as well as private and public sector services that cater for the town and its surrounding settlements.
