Lakeside Fire Rescue Company

Monroe Lakeside Fire Rescue Company is a volunteer firefighting organization based in and responsible for the town of Monroe, New York. The company is headed by President Walter Klippel and Chief Thomas Carton.
The company was formed in 1947. Known locally as "Lakeside", the company shares responsibility for the whole town of Monroe, along with the Harriman and Mombasha fire departments.
Unlike most fire companies in the United States, Lakeside is a private company rather than a governmental organization.
