Lakeshore Discovery School ^[1] is a dual track ^[2] elementary school located in Emeryville, Ontario, Canada. Built in 2006 and established in February 2007 by the Greater Essex County District School Board, the school provides its students with education in English or French immersion programs, serving children in grades junior kindergarten to 8. Lakeshore Discovery is one of the first planned "themed" schools to be built in Ontario and the school contains over 300 featured artifacts representing the theme of "discovery" ^[3].

The school's motto "R.A.P.T.O.R.S." stands for respect, academics, pride, teamwork, optimism, responsibility and sportsmanship, which are supposedly the seven characterisitics of the school's staff and students.
