Nature affords scenic and recreational attractions. The autumn display of colors as the deciduous trees, especially sugar maples, change color is one seasonal attraction.
Historic attractions are numerous along most of the Passage. Military history in the five decades around the Revolutionary War provide many historic sites, especially Fort Ticonderoga and Saratoga National Historical Park.
