Lakeland Center

The Lakeland Center is an 8,178-seat multi-purpose arena in Lakeland, Florida. It is home to the Lakeland Thunderbolts indoor football team. The arena opened in November 1974 as the Civic Center. It was here where Ace Frehley was electrocuted. It gained its current name in June 1994. Many noteworthy perfomances have been held in the arena, including the opening show for The Rolling Stones 1978 US Tour.
