Lake View High School is a public coeducational high school located in Chicago's prominent Lake View neighborhood. Lake View High School is the oldest operating High School in the state of Illinois for over 130 years since 1874.[4]
The Lake View colors are Red and White, and the school mascot is the Wildcat. The Lake ReView is the School newspaper.
Lake View High School earned a bronze medal in the U.S. News/School Matters Best High School rankings.[5]
