Lake Paringa is a small lake 30 kilometres north of Haast on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. It is set in rugged but picturesque terrain close to State Highway 6, six kilometres inland from the coast of the Tasman Sea. The lake is drained at its northern end by a small stream which joins the Paringa River.
The Paringa River flows into the Tasman Sea eight kilometres north of the lake.
