Lake Oswego School District

The Lake Oswego School District is a school district in Lake Oswego, Oregon a suburb 10 miles south of Portland. The district comprises 13 primary and secondary schools with a total enrollment of 6,896 as of 2005. Lake Oswego, which is considered one of the most affluent cities in Oregon, has some of the best schools in the state. According to the Oregon Department of Education's 2005 District and School Report Card study, all 13 schools in the Lake Oswego School District received excellent ratings. Out of the 1,253 schools in Oregon, only 124 other schools received such a high rating.[1]
