Lake Mashū (摩周湖 Mashū-ko?) (Ainu: Kamuy-to) is a landlocked endorheic crater lake formed in the caldera of a dormant volcano. It is located in Akan National Park on the island of Hokkaidō, Japan. Mashū is famous for the clarity of its water, and the fog that envelops its surface.
Mashū is located at 43.58N, 144.53E. Its elevation is 1,152 feet (351 m).
