Goose Lake (Russian: Гусиное озеро, Gusinoye Ozero) is the name of a body of fresh water in the Russian republic Buryatia in the southeast portion of Siberia. It is located about 120 kilometers from Ulan Ude, the capital of Buryatia and is close to the border with Mongolia. The town of Gusinoozyorsk, with its Buddhist shrines, is located on the northeastern shore of the lake.
