Lake Cuciurgani

Lake Cuciurgani (Kuchurgan in Russian) is a large water reservoir (lake) in Transnistria, Moldova.
The lake is located in the extreme south of the region, on the border with Ukraine. It is 20 km long and has a width of 3 km at the side of the dam. The total water surface area is 27.2 square kilometers.
Lake Cuciurgani is a popular resort area for the inhabitants of nearby Tiraspol, the capital of the region of Transnistria.
