Lake Catholic High School is located in Mentor, Ohio, an eastern suburb of Cleveland at 6733 Reynolds Rd. Lake Catholic High School is owned by the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. They offer a religious based, co-ed college preparatory program with electives in Technology, Fine Arts, Family and Consumer Science, and Business Education for students in grades 9-12. Founded in 1970, graduating its first class in 1974. It was the home of the likes of NFL receiver Joe Jurevicius, Tampa Bay Ray's pitcher, Kyle Hennie and OSU track & field standout, Tim Dubois.

Lake Catholic competes in the North Coast League. Member schools include: St. Peter Chanel High School, Elyria Catholic High School, Archbishop Hoban High School, Holy Name High School, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin High School, Padua Franciscan High School, Trinity and Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School. The 2007-2008 Cougar Pride Marching Band was the guest band for the 2007 Lake Erie College Storm football team.
