Lake Bluff Elementary School District 65

Lake Bluff Elementary School District 65 is a K-8 school district located in the northern Lake County village of Lake Bluff, in the state of Illinois. The elementary school district is composed of three schools: two elementary schools and one middle school. Education in this district begins in East Elementary School, a school that covers the grades first and second, and runs a kindergarten program; the current principal is Dr. Susan Armbruster. [1] Education in the district continues in Central Elementary School, which in turn serves the grades three, four, and five; the principal of Central is Katie Williams.[2] Lastly, Lake Bluff Elementary School District 65 terminates and feeds into Lake Forest High School[3]after completion of the grades six, seven, and eight in Lake Bluff Middle School; the principal of the final school of Lake Bluff Elementary School District 65 is Michael Donhost.[4]The superintendent of the district is Dr. David Vick.[5] The mascot of Central Elementary School is the snapper.

Activities in the middle school include a student council, a school newspaper, and a yearbook committee.[6]
