Lake Amatitlán (Lago de Amatitlàn) is a volcanic lake in south-central Guatemala, fairly close to the capital. It lies in Guatemala's central highlands, 1,248 m (4,085 feet) above sea level. It is 33 m deep, 11 km (7 miles) long, and 3 km (2 miles) wide. Its area is about 15 square kilometers (6 square miles).

The Villalobos River enters into it, and the lake is drained by the Michatoya River. The tourist town of Amatitlán sits near the head of the Michatoya.
