Lake Aldwell is located about 4.9 miles from the mouth of the Elwha River on the Olympic Peninsula. The lake was created behind the Elwha Dam. The demise of the lake is planned through the removal of this dam in the next couple of years. Some of the recreational activities afforded by the lake are kayaking, canoeing, and fishing.
