Laino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of Milan and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) north of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 514 and an area of 6.8 km².[1]
Laino borders the following municipalities: Blessagno, Claino con Osteno, Colonno, Pellio Intelvi, Pigra, Ponna, Ramponio Verna, San Fedele Intelvi.
