Talk:Laguiole knife
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Interesting story about Wikipedia's use in American culture. My wife and I were in the Broadmoor gift shop yesterday. Their elite restaurant, Charles Court, has always used Laguiole steak knives. You can buy sets in the gift shop. I asked some questions, and the sales clerk handed me a "brochure" explaining the knives. It was this article! (The 10:38 18 Feb 2005 version.) So I snapped some pix to make the article better. <>< tbc 04:28, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] expanding article
I like Laguiole knives myself and own a few. I could expand the article I guess, but the main question is if I should add or no a picture of one of mine. Because it is a more rare kind of Laguiole with mammoth ivory and high carbon steel, it would be representative of the high quality Laguiole while I'm not sure the set is that representative. Philippe Starck's models also deserve an entry here IMO. Matthieu (talk) 10:23, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
