The Lafayette Roughnecks is a now-defunct 2001 af2 expansion team. They played their home games at the CajunDome in Lafayette, Louisiana (also the basketball home for the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns). They only played for one season (a dismal 3-13 record) before ceasing all operations after the season ended.
