Talk:Lady Jessica

[edit] Title of article
Haven't read the Dune cycle front to back in about 20 years, but I am certain that Jessica but was Leto's legal concubine, but never married him because she was not of noble birth (as far as was known) and the Duke needed to keep open the possibility of marrying an heiress of another Great House of the Imperium.
IIRC, she was never called as "Jessica Atreides" (or at least, was only so called after Leto died). Thus, wouldn't this article be more properly titled "Lady Jessica"? Someone with more familiarity with the original Dune trilogy needs to chime in.

- It's true that she was never married to Leto, but history remembers her as Jessica Atreides. I suppose her birth name would be Jessica Nerus, but no one is going to be searching for that name. Lady Jessica would be, in my opinion, fine, as long as a redirect is set up. Noneofyourbusiness 23:27, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Question
are there any explanation on Jessica's eyes in the Children_of_Dune_(TV_miniseries)? why it isn't blue Mint greentea 23:05, 28 August 2005 (UTC)
