[edit] VfD

On April 13, 2005, this article was nominated for deletion. The result was merge. See Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Hardcore match for a record of the discussion. Mindspillage (spill yours?) 01:15, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Ladder/TLC match

Simple question: what the heck's the difference between them? After all in a Ladder match there are no disqualifications, therefore tables and chairs are just as legitimate as in a TLC match, and in both cases, you have to climb the ladder to win... --Dave. 22:26, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

In the table matches the tables actually get used and chairs but if the dudly boys are in it thell bring tables out anyway

[edit] RVD

Someone keeps replacing Bret Hart with RVD. If the article is read as written, RVD invented the ladder match when he was 2 years old

[edit] DVD

TLC is different in that WWE does not call it a ladder match and that Tables and chairs are positioned around the ring. Shouldn't a page be made devouted to the Ladder match dvd? it chronicles the evolution of the ladder match and gives accounts of those who have been in them.

[edit] WWE matches table

I reformatted the table to look like this and I think it looks a lot better. Why can't we keep it like that? Virakhvar321 15:27, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] TNA

How come only one of the King of the Mountain matches is on the TNA list. Either all or none. User: 002KFlash092 16:40, 29 July 2007

[edit] Merge

I don't think it should be merged. WWE lists the matches as sepreate match types, and conciders the TLC match more "dangerous". Why is it nominated for merging?Sephiroth storm 05:19, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

A TLC match uses more weapons than a ladder match so Oppose!--Hornetman16 (talk) 06:34, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
'Oppose'- I actually merged the articles before but I now I see that the article turned into a mess after it so, like Hybrid said it needs it seperate article as it uses more weapons, 'AND WHO CARES IF IT USES THE DAMN LADDER IT IS A DIFFERNT MATCH TYPE ACCORDING TO WWE!'--TrUcO9311 03:32, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Oppose- I oppose the merge as it simplifies things a bit more instead of trying to say (and this is just an example so no-one bite my head off) "the 17th ladder match & first TLC match and the 19th ladder match and the 2nd TLC match". But just to contradict what has been said so no-one can try and use this later and it makes me sound smart, the WWE released their Ladder Match DVD, and it did feature all 6 of the TLC matches that have taken place, so they do see it as a Ladder Match, but also a match on its own, if that makes sense. [edit] "Citation Needed" on Hart/Michaels match a.k.a. match #1

Why? It's on the ladder match dvd. (to tell you the truth, i did not even know that it was the first - always thought it was razor/micheals at mania 10) Diego 10:07, 09 August 2007

Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels did in fact have the first ladder in WWWF/WWF/WWE history. It's just that Michaels and Razor Ramon did the first televised match. Mr. C.C. (talk) 18:48, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
