Ladywell Arena

Ladywell Arena is a multiple use sports arena in Ladywell in the Lewisham, London, England on behalf of Parkwood Leisure. It is run on the same frame as the leisure centres in Lewisham. The arena is located on the edge of Ladywell Fields. Ladywell Arena is fully equipped with athletic features, with a six lane 400m all weather running track, county league level football facilities on the centre field and also a modern gym. The gym has a combination of cv and resistance equipment as well as free weights. The stadium is also floodlit, which is ideal for training any time of the year. There is no specialized seating area for the arena only a few park benches.[1]

Clients at the arena include many clubs for children and teenagers plus running & athletics clubs ranging from Kent AC[2] to Blackheath Harriers AC.[3] Ladywell Arena is also home to the South East London Wheelchair Racing Club and the Lewisham Special Olympic Club. The arena is located in the London Borough of Lewisham and is owned by Lewisham Leisure an arm of the council.

The stadium is also very easy to get to via Public Transportation. Ladywell railway station and Catford Bridge stations are the nearest to the arena, it's on the Mid-Kent Line and is served by Southeastern services mostly for routes to London Bridge. Catford railway station is also close for services on the Catford Loop to Blackfriars station. The nearest Docklands Light Railway station is at Lewisham DLR.
