The Noon Educational Trust was established in 1992 in the memory of Lady Viqarunnissa Noon to support students from Pakistan to study at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. The members of board of trustees meet each year in Oxford to offer scholarships to the very bright Pakistani students who otherwise could not afford to study in the UK. Each year a number of full or partial awards are made funded jointly in collaboration with the Open Society Institute and British Chevening Scheme. The trust do no deal with individual requests as both Cambridge and Oxford university forward applications of eligible candidates to the trust.
