The Lady Marina Windsor (Marina Charlotte Alexandra Katharine Helen Blanche Windsor; born 30 September 1992) is the elder daughter of George Windsor, Earl of St Andrews and Sylvana Windsor, Countess of St Andrews. She was born at the Rosie Hospital in Cambridge and named for her great-grandmother, Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent. Until 2008 she was 25th in the line of succession to the British Throne, bypassing her father, an Anglican who married a Roman Catholic, and her elder brother, who is a Roman Catholic. She is currently educated at St Mary's School Ascot , a boarding school for girls and her favourite subject is drama.[citation needed] She has relativies in Canada as her mother is from Newfoundland.
In 2008 The Observer reported that she'd been confirmed as a Catholic and dropped out of the line of succession.[1]
