Lady Lazarus is a novel by Andrew Foster Altschul. A novel about poetry, punk rock, and suicide, Lady Lazarus is the story of Calliope Bird Morath, a confessional poet and the daughter of Brandt Morath, a famous rock star. It deals with some of the same issues of exhibitionism and the public's hunger for tragedy and spectacle as Plath's poem. Lady Lazarus was published in 2008 by Harcourt.
