Lady Frances von Hofmannsthal

Lady Frances von Hofmannsthal nee Armstrong-Jones, (born 17 July 1979) is the daughter of the 1st Earl of Snowdon (former husband of Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon) and his second wife, Lucy Mary Davies. Frances is half sister to Viscount Linley and Lady Sarah Chatto, children of HRH The Princess Margaret, sister of Queen Elizabeth. Her parents separated in 1998 after it was revealed that Earl Snowdon had fathered a son, Jasper William Oliver Cable-Alexander, out of wedlock. Lady Frances married Rodolphe von Hofmannsthal, great-grandson of librettist Hugo von Hofmannsthal, on 2 December 2006 at St. George's Church, Hanover Square, London. The couple had their first child, a son, Rex Antony Octavian on 2 May 2008.
