Ladma is a three-man sketch group consisting of Pete Allen, Chris Marshall and Dan Smith. Their style has been likened to Chris Morris and The League of Gentlemen.
Ladma have produced a number of short films and performed live gigs across the UK. In 2006 they won the Jury Prize at Brighton Film Festival for their debut film Sebastien Foucault. They have also won Cotswold Film Festival’s Comedy Award [1] and were Runner-Up in Stamford Film Festival’s Best Emerging Talent category [2]. In October 2007 they won Current TV’s Comedy Competition[3].
Ladma are currently producing a television series for Current TV and are scheduled to perform at the Brighton Fringe Festival and Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Pete Allen and Dan Smith both write for the satirical Brighton-based Treason Show[4].
