Ladislaus de Szögyény-Marich von Magyar-Szögyen und Szolgaegyháza (12 November 1841-1916) was an Austro-Hungarian diplomatist.
Szögyény was a Hungarian aristocrat, born in Vienna. He served in the Hungarian parliament from 1869 to 1882, at which point he went to work in the Austro-Hungarian foreign ministry, serving in various important positions in the ministry. In 1892 he was appointed ambassador to Berlin, where he would serve until 1914. He was still serving at the time of the July Crisis, and it was to him that Germany's famous "blank check," promising support for an Austrian attack on Serbia, was delivered. Szögyény retired soon after, and died two years later, in 1916.
