LADE - Lineas Aereas Del Estado is an airline based in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina. It is a state owned airline operated by the military and providing domestic scheduled services. Its main base is General Enrique Mosconi International Airport, Comodoro Rivadavia with hubs in Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, Buenos Aires, with a hub at [[Comandande Armando Tola International Airport, El Calafate.[1].

LADE was until 2006 one of only two airlines in the world to still operate Boeing 707's in passenger service, serving Rio Gallegos and Comodoro Rivadavia from El Palomar Air Force Base, near Buenos Aires.(The other airline is Saha Airlines of Iran, owned by the Iranian Air Force.) The 707 is not used on scheduled passenger services any more. It was used for long routes such as AEP-USH and CRD-USH and USH-BRC.

The airline was established in September 1940 and started operations in 1940. It was initially known as Lineas Aereas Suroeste and consolidated under the present title in 1945 with another air force branch, Lineas Aereas Noreste.[1]
