Doc Holliday (born Sean M Tompkins) is a rapper and producer. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Doc specializes in chopped and slowed music. Doc Holliday started on the music scene in 1998 when he started Commerce Street Records in San Antonio, TX by not only producing several rappers under the label but also opening a music store by the same name in the East side of San Antonio. In 2000, Doc Holliday decided to create his own brand of mixtapes and compilations after a disagreement with Michael "5000" Watts. With some mentoring tips from DJ Screw, Doc Holliday helped put San Antonio on the map. In summer 2006, Doc Holliday has also become a contributing writer to The Juice and later to CollapseMag.com with his own brand of wit, humor, and insight into a myriad of hot topics.
